Triangle-Shaped Coriolis Flowmeter

Built for low-flow and small-diameter processes where measurement precision cannot be compromised
When your process involves precise ingredient dosing, high-value chemical injection, or small-batch blending, indirect flow measurement introduces unacceptable uncertainty. The triangle-tube Coriolis meter eliminates that uncertainty entirely — measuring mass flow directly from the Coriolis force acting on the fluid itself, independent of fluid properties, viscosity, or temperature shifts. Simultaneous density output makes it equally capable as an inline concentration or quality monitor.

Whether you're dosing high-value chemical reagents, filling pharmaceutical vials, or metering specialty fluids in confined pipework, the Triangle-Shaped Coriolis Flowmeter delivers direct, compensation-free measurement with full Coriolis accuracy — down to DN3.

Measure Mass Directly — No Compensation Equations Required

Mass flow is measured from first principles — the Coriolis force acting on the fluid itself. Pressure fluctuations, temperature variations, and fluid property changes do not alter the measurement. What the meter reads is what is flowing, always.

± 0.1% mass flow accuracy, independent of fluid properties

Output Mass, Volume, Density, and Temperature Simultaneously

Four process variables from one inline device — no additional sensors, no wiring runs, no synchronization between instruments. Each output is independent and directly measured, not calculated from another variable.

Single sensor; four simultaneous outputs via 4–20 mA / pulse / RS485 / HART

Reach Flows as Low as 9.6 kg/hr with Full Accuracy

The triangle-tube geometry is engineered for sensitivity at low flow rates — maintaining Coriolis-grade accuracy where U-tube designs become unreliable. Suitable for dosing lines, injection skids, and micro-batch processes without range compromise.

DN3 minimum pipe size; zero stability from 0.012 kg/hr

Operate Across the Full Spectrum of Process Temperatures

From cryogenic liquid oxygen and liquid nitrogen service through high-temperature process streams, the meter’s SS316L measuring tube and sealed housing maintain measurement integrity across a –200°C to +300°C operating range.

Standard configuration: –50°C to +200°C; extended: –200°C to +300°C

Characterize Fluids Inline Without Sampling

Continuous density measurement at ±0.002 g/cm³ accuracy enables real-time concentration monitoring, phase detection, and blend verification — replacing periodic lab sampling with continuous process intelligence.

Density range: 0.3–3.0 g/cm³; accuracy: ±0.002 g/cm³

Zone 1 Installation Without a Separate Hazardous-Area Variant

Explosion-proof certification ships as standard on every unit. Procurement, spares stocking, and documentation are simplified — there is no standard version and a hazardous-area version; there is one meter that covers both.

Why Triangle-Tube Coriolis for Low-Flow Precision Measurement

  • vs. Positive Displacement Meters (Oval Gear, Rotary)

    • Direct mass measurement — no density correction needed for custody accuracy
    • No rotating elements — zero wear on precision-matched gear surfaces over time
    • Handles aggressive, high-purity, and abrasive media without wetted mechanical parts
    • Simultaneous density output — PD meters measure volume only
    • No viscosity-dependent calibration shift across operating temperature changes
    • Higher initial unit cost (offset by elimination of maintenance and recalibration intervals)
  • vs. Turbine / Micro-Turbine Flowmeters

    • Immune to viscosity variation — turbine K-factor drifts with fluid viscosity changes
    • No minimum Reynolds number requirement — accurate at any flow velocity
    • No bearing wear or blade damage in abrasive or particle-laden service
    • Direct mass output — turbine measures velocity and requires fluid density assumption
    • Accurate from the very first pulse — no spin-up lag at low flow onset
  • vs. Magnetic Flowmeters (Small-Bore)

    • Measures non-conductive fluids — Coriolis imposes no minimum conductivity requirement
    • Valid for oils, hydrocarbons, solvents, and pure water where mag meters cannot operate
    • Simultaneous mass, density, and temperature — mag meters output volumetric flow only
    • Unaffected by empty-pipe conditions — no false readings on startup or drain-down
    • No external grounding rings or cathodic protection required
